Custom avoidance algorithm in Zombieland

A tech preview of my latest version of Zombieland (a mod for the popular game Rimworld). In the movie, debugging is turned on, so you see the danger zone around each zombie. Colonists are set to do nothing (not flee, not attack) and the video shows that they actually try to fulfill their duties while avoiding zombies.
The algorithm is very efficient and puts a constant overhead on the game. The zombie avoidance is calculated in a background thread.
