In the twisted, dark and gorefest universe of dead space, there was an organisation that had governed over the entire human race, of whom had their own armed force to keep the peace and to put those within their place within a imperial state of mind. However there were other issues plaguing humanity at this time, which had made the public easy to manipulate by successionists which would lead to the governments downfall and demise.
