DFuxa Showcases - A Long Way Down
1Another game I received a review key for, but perhaps one I might be doing more videos of. A Long War Down is inspired by such titles as Slay The Spire, Darkest Dungeons, and Hands of Fate - though it is very much its own game.
Specifically, there is a heavy emphasis on building the dungeon that you play in - dropping in pieces to help build paths to whatever goals you are after. There is also a Dungeon Master too who, from your building pieces, will also place down tiles to hinder you.
When you get into battles, you will get something similar to the usual affair in Card Rogue-likes - though with multiple characters on hand potentially. You use cards to inflict attacks, defend yourself, and so forth. You have action points which limit how many actions you can do in a turn before you receive damage from enemies.
A Neat Game for sure. Notably also in Early Access.
