24This week on Wait Just an Infosec, host Dr. Johannes Ullrich, Dean of Research at SANS.edu, offers a behind-the-scenes look at the SANS Internet Storm Center. The ISC is one of our most popular, long-standing resources, providing free analysis and warning service of attacks being mounted against computers across the globe.
Dr. Ullrich will be joined by special guests Lori Brumm and Jacob Gray, SANS.edu students currently participating in an undergraduate internship with the Internet Storm Center. Together, Dr. Ullrich, Ms. Brumm and Mr. Gray will talk about a day in the life of a Honeypot, review some live honeypot logs, discuss what they teach us, and show how you can learn from the logs.
