Division 2 D-Day mode | Episode 1 (Introduction | no armor playthrough)
Questions are fully welcome in the comments, as well as other suggestions/other things. This episode is just sort of the intro of things to come. We don't face much of a challenge at the lower levels, due to less damage. However, we still did things, and still made fun of things along the way.
Episode 2 is where things really start. This is just the obligatory introductory video, which gives information as to what the series is, and what it brings.
Rules:
-No armor upgrades (you must use the starter armor through the entire game, no exceptions or replacements).
-No exotics (once we reach WT5, we can fill the SHD project. We're choosing not to, since some exotics can be a little too powerful.)
-No stash (basically no taking items from inside the stash that have higher damage values, which would make the game easier.)
-Wear the Retro Field Uniform outfit (optional)
It's called D-Day mode because we're going in with no plan or protection, while also wearing a veteran soldier outfit. Its somewhat similar to Operation Overlord, which was storming the beaches of Normandy. This has since been referred to as "D-Day," hence the name "D-Day mode."
I highly suggest that you try this for yourself if you are bored of the game and want a challenge, or just want to try it because it looks hard. Here's a couple other things that can make the game even harder:
No Offensive skills.
-Basically nothing that deals damage to enemies. So no assault turret or drone, no stinger hive, pretty much none of the chem launchers, and no fireflies.
Gun Nuzlocke
-Any gun that you die with has to be scrapped. If you run out of guns, you technically "lose."
Pistolero (pistol only)
-Only do this if you're insane, or NothingButSkillz (since it somehow works every time).
No specific goal of the episode. Just more of a series starter, with the introduction at the beginning. Next episode gets into doing missions, and how the armor slowly starts to become a factor.
Consider subscribing. I do dumb things, most of which is either remotely entertaining or funny. I won't ask you to like the video or anything, but feel free to share it to your friends to plant the seed. Maybe see if they want to try the challenge with you.
Next episode comes out on Christmas, so look out for it.
Happy Holidays!
