DIY Wind sim for around £100!
This video will look at how to make your own DIY wind sim, at a cost of only around £100. With a couple of fans, an Arduino Uno Rev 3, a Cytron MD10 motor shield, a power supply and a usb cable, and using Simhub you are able to create wind in your favourite racing sim.
Thanks to BoostedMedia for their initial video which got me started: • Building a DIY Wind Simulator - Part 1
For Simhub if you wish to try the full version, you are able to donate during the purchase/download process to get a licence via email.
The parts used in this video can be sourced through the links below. Please note the Amazon links don't cost you any more but it helps support the channel with a small percentage of the sale, enabling further tech reviews and projects. If you do need to extend the wires for your fans, then this can either be done by soldering wires together and covering the joins with heatshrink, or you can use various different wire connectors.
