The DL-18 is one of the most popular blaster pistols in the Star Wars galaxy. It's fairly high rate of fire is what makes it so appealing to bounty hunters and smugglers alike. It was first seen in the hands of Jabba The Hutt's Skiff Guards, and later, during the same fight, Han Solo uses one to shoot a Sarlacc tentacle. It was also Force grabbed by Luke Skywalker in an attempt to kill Jabba The Hutt. Jedi Knight Kanan Jarrus carries a modified DL-18 throughout the Star Wars Rebels series.
