17Yes, I know. I'm going against what I originally said, and am only playing on Ultra Violence.
I don't quite hate myself enough to sit through the entirety of this crappy port on Nightmare! skill. And as I mentioned, I'm only really playing through it out of a morbid curiosity (that may well cause me to commit suicide if the later levels play as badly as I imagine they will).
In spite of the shitty controls, I handled this map remarkably well. Yes, I know it's only the first level, but until you play this port, you have no idea how bad the gameplay is. Autoaim is incredibly picky and thanks it to having a stupidly narrow tolerance band, it requires pixel-perfect laser-precision along the horizontal axis, as evident in the zig-zag room when I'm firing at the two Imps.
Anyway, yeah. Here goes nothing.
