Well, during the third chapter in the game which is the World Tournament Chapter, Goku makes a big annoucement saying that he's coming back for one day, and he will joining the World Tournament. Goku talks Gohan into entering, along with be harrassed by Videl. So knowing that Gohan joining makes Goten wanna join, same as Vegeta, and Trunks so they get some training done before the tournament.

Goten's training is fairly easy. The first thing is simply dodging rocks which can be easily avoided if you a rounding lap either in front of Goten, or around him. Next your have a sparring match with Goten, which is also easy, because he's 6, but you have to fight him in Super Saiyan.

Trunks training is a little bit diffulcult, if you don't know how to do it. The only you have to do is catch, and hit Vegeta. Vegeta is very quick and if you drive him to close to the wall, he'll fly back to the center, and you have to start over. Trunks Super Saiyan is limited but about 2 seconds after reverting back to normal, he'll go back to Super Saiyan automacilcally. You can only catch Vegeta in Super Saiyan form so try running full speed at him, because you're a little faster than him, and punch like crazy
