Ice Missle is a basic attack that does little damage, but is a handy slow. Frost wind and frost nova will freeze and slow your attacks. These attacks also use no mana. Lightning attacks are your most reliable Area of effect attacks. Guardian will elt you summon a lighting-spewing guardian. Keep in mind, this means that there will be an increased essence cost for these attacks as they are meant to be AoEs. Fire attack do the highest damage, but are pretty costly in terms of mana. Physical damage is dealth through Magic Missle—your first and most basic attack—and destruction, an expensive but powerful attack.
