[DUEL LINKS] Mayakashi - PVP Duels + Deck Profile
37PVP Duels using the new Mayakashi Deck from the latest Mini Box "Flames of the Heart" For budget reasons you don't need to run 3 of everything as the deck works well using limited numbers as well, I just wanted to showcase the simplest way to run the deck.
Advantages of using this deck: Mayakashi is a Ladder-Climbing Synchro deck that tries its hardest to make a boss monster turn 1, as each time one of the synchros is defeated you can Special Summon a lower level version of the Mayakashi Synchro monster you Synchro Summoned previously that turn, the deck is difficult to defeat by battle or destruction and you can easily make your boss monster again with the trap card "Mayakashi Metamorphosis" or by Synchro Summoning again.
Disadvantages of using this deck: Whilst the deck has great strengths it has a variety of weaknesses, for one the deck is a one trick pony, which means that it's only line of play is either Synchro climbing or trying to bring back it's Synchros from the Grave/Banish area, now don't get me wrong that's great but it's very exploitable to any forms of non-destruction removal which means that if the Synchros are removed from the field without destroying them you'll be literally defenseless.
As much as I want to play this deck more, it's really weak to backrow or any non-destructive removal so overall it's a fun deck that is great for beginners, but not great for competitive players.
