Compared to the beta, the release version of Dune: Awakening adds a new Low-End Laptop Mode (Experimental). This setting significantly improves performance on older GPUs like the RX 570 and RX 580. In this mode, not only is fps noticeably higher, but stuttering is also reduced, resulting in a much more stable gameplay experience.
As for VRAM, the in-game warning suggests that 6GB is the minimum required, which means the RX 570 4GB might run into limitations during extended gameplay. However, during testing, the game was playable on the 4GB card โ though it's unclear how stable the experience would be throughout a full playthrough.
FSR Frame Generation still doesn't run smoothly, similar to how it performed in the beta, and this is visible in the frametime graph.
