Has The Prisoner update really improved Dying Light Hellraid?

When the Dying Light Hellraid DLC was announced last year it pretty much signalled the end of any hopes of a stand alone Hellraid game, and when it was released it turned out to be little more than a series of challenges based on Hellraid rather than a fully realised story. There has been an update since then with The Lord Hectors Demise but that only really added a couple of weapons, a shield and some bounties. Don't get me wrong, I thought Hellraid was great for the price and any new content for Dying Light is fine by me, It just didn't turn out to be anything grand and hasn't had any further support for 9 months. That is until now! A trailer for The Prisoner Update dropped completely out of the blue and it isn't just a few extra weapons this time, it is an actual expansion with new rooms challenges and a ton of changes to the way the game looks and plays. Of course there are some new weapons and you'll need to fight the new shield carrying skeleton for the Bonecruncher and can unlock a gold version to buy in the Hellraid shop when you achieve the new Vanquisher rank. The second is the Corrupted Justice Bow, which can be unlocked by playing through the new levels after the story mode and also awards you a Gold blueprint for it to use in the main game. That's all the good stuff, but there have been some worrying changes that may have broken the main game in the process of trying to make Hellraid a bigger and better game. In this video I'll be checking out all of the changes and weapons, the pros and cons and at the end of the video I'll talk about whether or not Hellraid has broken Dying Light.
