Fable: Content Restoration - CS_LAMP_THIEF_NOT_ENOUGH_GOLD
7A recreation of a cutscene that was cut from the game. In the game files for Fable, lies text entries which indicate that your Final Exam in the Heroes Guild was meant to be totally different.
One of these tests that were a part of the Final Exam was given to you by the Guildmaster: "Find a lamp that we have hidden in the Guild Woods" and upon entering the Guild Woods, you would be confronted by a man who is known in the game files as 'Lamp Thief.'

Based on the dialogue he has in the game, he tries to convince you that he knows where an "official looking guy" stashed the lamp and that he will sell you it for 50 gold. It's not made clear if the guy is lying to you and you can find the lamp yourself, but he does have dialogue that suggests he would sell it to you or relinquish ownership of the lamp if you threatened him enough.
This is meant to be a cutscene featuring dialogue that would play if you were to accept the Thief's offer, even though you don't have enough gold.
Unfortunately, the Markers, Cutscenes and Voice lines were probably never implemented into the game - just the dialogue. This is simply a recreation that I made to show an example of how this might have looked like.
