Okay, final stage. A lot of this is just build up fighting the monster horde around the center of the map, powering down the dragon by taking key points. After that, then you can go fight it.

Velezark at least has enough HP the fight won't be over quick. He can take a lot of punishment and throughout the course of the fight, changes his "weapon". This is really awkward when the characters explain it because they talk like the dragon is using different weapons, but, it's a fucking dragon, it's not using ANY weapons. (Wish it did, a dragon switching between sword, lance, and axe movesets would have been friggin' cool) What this really means is that it's changing it's weapon triangle so you should attack with an appropriate character. I didn't bring a lance user so that was kind of irksome for me.

You want your guys to all stay near Velezark to fight him but...the AI didn't seem to agree. I kept having them wonder off for the fight no matter how many times I tried to tell them to focus on THE FINAL BOSS so that was annoying. Working together and all launching your musous and whatnot he should go down without much trouble.

I sort of had good expectations for this game going in, despite my complaints I enjoyed Hyrule Warriors. This? I didn't enjoy this. I just wanted to get it over with. It reeks of halfassed production and cash grabs. If all you care about is mindlessly attacking enemies with FE characters, then at least that's there for you. But frankly I'd rather just play another FE game.

There's History Mode as well, which has a liiiittle bit of story but really not enough to amount to anything. What you really miss out on is two characters Celica and Lyn. Seriously, they have two FE characters that are actually from different FEs and they don't include them in the story whatsoever. I can't express how riddled with missed opportunities this game is. I played a bit of History Mode but then got to a point where it demanded I clear a map using ONLY Awakening characters so I'd have had to stop everything and grind those characters up so they could beat the stage and I'd just rather not, man.

So yeah, I don't recommend this. Back to playing Three Houses for me.
