one attempt to build a a galaxian style shooter
the game is nearly finished, only a bit hard to reach the end.

to get the backgrounds in halfaways acceptable quality i the game i had to hack the project files to expand the palette to a maximum of 125 to use colors.
probably you could hack up to 256 colors, but more as 125 (plus 1) won't be shown in the palette in G.A.C.K.
to get that working i hacked first the palette (blew up the content), then i set the palette in G.A.C.K and hacked the palette data back into a indexed bitmap (of exact 125 colors) which i can use now to dither the pictures with the colors i have in my own palette.
