"GAME CARD NOT INCLUDED!" Game Key's Challenger Is Approaching - Are Video Games Actually Dying?
[Subscribe] for more - "GAME CARD NOT INCLUDED!" in Switch 2 release of Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3+4 Bundle. I know when I ordered this, there were only 2 options. Digital and Physical. I ordered this physical and got this empty case with a paper in it with a Redeemable Code to be used in the Nintendo store. That is worse than a game key! What is even more shady is now the Store added the verbiage"(Code in Box)" to the product page to try and play off their Muck-up. The Inventory listing page I ordered on had 2 options, "Physical" and "Digital" versions. These product listings were completely separate so I made sure to choose the right one which you can probably guess is the "Physical" copy. This is complete and utter BS . Server logs would show they made changes Post purchase, but those would probably be cleared by now to cover their shenanigan's. Pretty sure that is not legal business practices, but if nobody else is caring then I suppose I'll wait and see if anyone else does anything when it happens to them. Maybe someone who can actually do something will take a legal stance to get this whole "No Cartidge" in "Physical" Game Packaging issue. Personally, I just don't care enough, but I do wonder how many other people noticed this discrepancy. Seriously NINTENDO, What made you think that this would be okay to do? You know people who buy the "Physical" Game would AT THE VERY LEAST have the Physical cartidge. You already presented us with Game Keys and you see how that went and literally a little over a month later, you release Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 with NO GAME CARTIDGE.
If I didn't want a game cartidge, I would have CLEARLY ordered the digital copy. I honestly want to know what your logic here is and I am sure I am not the only one.
Simple Mistakes Can be Big Mistakes.
How many other people got bait and switched?
