Victor Vran (Xbox One X) - Gameplay
Welcome to Game Play. A series, of sorts, where I check out various video games and share my experiences with you.
Today we're taking a look at Victor Vran (Xbox One X).
I had no expectations going into this, considering I've little experience with the Diablo-like genre, but I have to say that it really surprised me. Victor Vran is actually a very fun and quite rewarding game.
The story is sort of "meh" but it's decent enough to keep me playing, but the gameplay is the real attraction here. It's both engaging and intuitive. It takes some effort to master the controls but once you've got the hang of it, you'll be killing monsters left and right. The skills are interesting and varied, but the relatively low difficulty might be a turn-off for some.
I chose to play on normal difficulty, and it's pretty easy to roll over the poor monsters. If you're looking for a challenge, you might want to up the difficulty and play on Hardcore Mode as well.
In conclusion, Victor Vran is surprisingly good, and I'm going to play it for some time. It's a stimulating experience that you can enjoy and have some serious fun kicking arse. Go check it out.
