Gauntlet is a hack and slash dungeon crawler realeased in 1985 as a arcade game by Atari Games by Ed Logg. It is one of the first multi-player dungeon crawl arcade games. The design of Gauntlet came from a game called Dandy. The ZX Spectrum version of Gauntlet was published by US Gold. It has been released on mutiple systems including the Arcade, Amstrad CPC, Atari ST, Apple II, Apple IIGS, Macintosh, Commodore 64, MSX, Master System, NES, Genesis and MS-DOS.
