Ghosts 'n Goblins Perfect Run - Stage 4
2We've made it halfway through the game; surely it gets eye-gouging hard from here on? Not quite, the 4th stage is actually the shortest and easiest stage in the game. It starts with a small platforming section (on floating eyeballs no less), and has but a few imps and red devils after that.
The imp section merits a little note. I recommend dealing with imps as little as possible since they have erratic movements and an annoying projectile at times. Fortunately, Arthur can just keep running through the entire section without getting hit (well except for that imp near the last lava geyser, I'd pop a knife in him before moving on).
The boss of the level is the rehashed Dragon. However, the elevated platform works to Arthur's advantage since he can hit the Dragon with more ease. Additionally, you can get a few hits on the Dragon before he flies away if you aim properly.
It's back to the Ghosts 'n Goblins norm after this. The next stages are vertical climbs, and boy do they suck in this game. Enjoy the video!
