Someone who has the ear of Glenn Beck has made him think Net Neutrality has something to do with the Fairness Doctrine.

IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE FAIRNESS DOCTRINE!

In fact, it has nothing to do with regulating CONTENT at all! The Net Neutrality movement seeks to PREVENT Internet service providers from regulating your Internet traffic based on the content of your data packets.

Net Neutrality should appeal to Libertarians. The concept is basically this:
HEY, ISP! STOP MESSING WITH MY PACKETS!

Don't open-up my packets to see what's inside. Don't throttle based on what's contained. Just deliver each packet to the destination.
