Hand of the Gods SMITE Tactics Beta Review
5Review for the beta of Hand of the Gods Smite Tactics (2017), which is a turn based, one versus one, strategy game set in a mythological universe. Developed by Hi-Rez Studios Hand of the Gods allows you to build armies from a large roster of mythological Gods and creatures, such as Zeus the Greek God of the sky and Odin - the Norse Allfather.
Currently Closed Beta Access is available for PlayStation Plus members, Xbox Live Gold members and also available as an early access game on Steam. There has been no official word regarding when the Beta will end but we can expect frequent patches, and and progress or purchases made to carry over to the full game, once released.
So what does the Beta offer to players? Well it offers a three stage tutorial, as well as a practise mode against the AI, for players to hone their skills and to try out new decks in relative comfort. Hand of the Gods Smite Tactics (2017) also provides both casual and ranked multiplayer.
On top of that Hand of the Gods (2017) also rewards players with ‘favour points’ for completing matches, and allows them to engage in a series of micro-transactions in order to get more card packs. In addition to this it allows players to disenchant cards as well as craft cards they want to refine a specific deck. Hand of the Gods Smite Tactics (2017) also provides opportunities for players to create their own decks.
During my time playing Hand of the Gods Smite Tactics (2017) I thoroughly enjoyed its fast paced gameplay, and artistically appealing look, as well as its balanced card pool. I never felt that cards were overpowered and the limit of 25 cards to a deck really helps bring in a little more strategy to the game.
