Have you ever seen this cut of Pork?! | Maple Bourbon Smoked Pork Tomahawk #shorts
I’ve never seen a pork tomahawk until recently! When I was browsing on @meatnbone , I saw this and had to snag it for a reverse sear cook!
The Maple Bourbon rub by @cusocuts worked perfectly with the pork, and the reverse sear gave it some time to really develop some flavor!
Preheat your smoker to 225F.
While that comes up to temp, start seasoning the tomahawk with your preferred seasoning blend!
Then we are going to let this smoke for 45-60 minutes, or until the internal hits about 130F. Once it does, Bring it inside, and we’re going to let it rest a few while the charcoal is heating up!
A quick sear for 2 -3 minutes should do the trick.
Let it rest for about 10 minutes, the final internal I aim for is around 140F. Slice it up after the rest, and enjoy!
