Automated code analysis will get better (and more ubiquitous)
Code analysis tools are nothing new, but they previously were the preserve of the well-heeled dev teams with cash to splurge. Now, there are free open-source alternatives that give the proprietary offerings a run for their money. And as the freebie tools rise in prominence, their adoption will continue to snowball, reckons Facebook research scientist Peter O'Hearn.
