How do I work with a broadcaster? | One Stop Business
Learn what broadcasters/network executives are looking for when pitching APTN, TVO, and Blue Ant Media. This session provides emerging producers and creators with some suggestions on how to pitch your project to one of these broadcasters, and what to expect when working with a broadcaster.
Presented by Sam Linton, Head of Original Content, Blue Ant Media & Jane Jankovic, Executive Producer, Documentaries, TVO.
Moderated by Gave Lindo, previously the Executive Director, OTT Programming, CBC
This session is part of the One Stop Business Workshop - Say Hello to series organized by CBC, CAVCO, and CMPA - originally livestreamed between June 10 - July 3, 2020. The goal of the series was to introduce new and emerging independent producers and content creators from traditionally underrepresented groups in the industry (women, persons with a disability, Black, Indigenous, People of Colour and LGBTQ2+) to topics related to the business and financing of TV, film and original digital content.
