4,300The Minecraft Survival Guide Season 3 continues in Minecraft 1.20.2!
In this tutorial, we set up a hostile mob farm for zombie, skeleton, creeper, and spider drops - a vital source of gunpowder, bones, string, arrows and rotten flesh!
The farm includes automatically flushing spawning platforms, a hopper clock timer, soul campfires, and auto-sorted storage. Along the way we learn about the mob spawning radius and how it's tied to the player, expand the storage for the iron farm, and discuss why an overflow chest is a good idea when this farm should only be producing five types of items!
As with our iron farm, unfortunately this farm will not function the same way in Bedrock Edition thanks to mechanical differences with mob spawning (and the flushing mechanism will not work thanks to the lack of redstone quasiconnectivity.)
