Steps:

- Close safari and open up the settings app on your iPhone.

- Scroll down and select ‘safari’.

- In the safari settings, tap ‘search engine’.

- You can choose which search engine is used by Safari here.

- If you go back to safari now and make a search it will search in your newly changed search engine.

- Your safari reading list has now been cleared
