hey guys it's the digital tutor here
with another step-by-step tutorial
in today's video i'm just going to show
you how you can go ahead and
create a group chat on facebook
messenger
so you can actually set up a chat of
more than one person if you're new to
the channel

so if that being said let's get straight
in
what we're going to do is come and once
we've logged into facebook.com
we then want to come to the messenger
icon at the top here
and give that a click and from there you
need to open up
the full messenger window so if you
click the link at the bottom which says
see all in messenger
okay so once facebook messenger is on
the big screen
uh the full version here we then need to
come to the top left hand corner and
click this little icon here
uh which looks like a pen
that's to create a new message and all
you want to do is type the names of the
people
when you put a person in they're going
to come up on the scroll down list here
so you just want to go ahead and click
to add them in
we can add the next person in
like say so you can see already what's
happened it's
got the two names here
and if you look to the left hand side
you can see the
two profile pictures which suggest when
i send a message
that's actually going to go to both of
these people
and create a group chat
so for example i'm just going to put
test
and you'll see what's going to happen
it's going to come up saying you have
created this group
so this is now a group chat if you come
to the right hand side what you can do
is actually customize the chat
click here you can change the name of
the chat
so i'm going to call it test
and click save and you can see instead
of the names
the chat group snowball test
same here you can
change the theme so you can go ahead and
change the colors
to whichever you want let's change it to
this red kind of color
and
yeah that that's how you do it you can
also add members
um if you click this one here chat
members
uh you can see i'm down as the admin
because i've created the group
and there's a little plus button
underneath me which says
people so if you wanted to add more
people to the chat you just click that
button there
uh search in your friends for who you
want to add
and you've got the check box next time
so you just click
and tick all the people you want to add
like so and then you would click on to
add people
and that's going to add them into the
chat
and that's it really that is how you
create a group chat using the facebook
messenger
