Fix Mic Echo on Xbox Series X/S
Lower Headset Volume: Guide, System, Audio, reduce Headset Volume to 65-75%. Mute TV.
Reduce Mic Monitoring: Guide, System, Audio, Mic Monitoring, slide left or set to zero.
Set Party Chat to Headset: Settings, General, Volume & Audio Output, Party Chat Output, choose Headset. Mute speaker if needed.
Adjust Mic: Move mic from mouth/speakers. In Audio, lower Microphone Level.
Check Connection: Unplug/replug wired headset. Clean jack. Reconnect wireless; check batteries.
Update Firmware: Settings, Devices & Connections, Accessories, update controller. Check System, Updates for console.
Fix Network: Restart router. Test in Settings, General, Network Settings. Check Xbox status online.
Power Cycle: Hold console power 10s, unplug 2-3 min, reconnect, restart.
