No Gcode editing , that is very easy . few simple step
1. measure height of the print where stop
2. cut the model from any software by add 1more layer (0.2mm)
3. continue print
4. sand abit and glue it back .

just modify the model continue print and glue it back later.
you always need to post process the model anyway .
