2. Download and install Origin - https://www.origin.com/gbr/en-us/store/download
3. Register your CD key through Origin
4. Download and install Generals Zero Hour only (you will get latest patch automatically which is 1.04)
5. Download and Install GenTool - https://www.gentool.net
6. Download and run GenPatcher via this link: https://legi.cc/downloads/genpatcher/
7. Attempt to run the game, adjust your settings in options, DISABLE HEAT EFFECTS in options, play one skirmish and check all working ok
8. If you have an nvidia graphics card - open nvidia control panel by right clicking on desktop, go to manage 3D settings, program settings, find ZH, set Ansiotropic filtering to 16x, antialising mode to "override any app", anialising setting to 8x, antialising transparency to 8x
8. Download and install GameRanger from https://www.gameranger.com
9. Run GameRanger, create a new account, login and setup your games in options
10. In GameRanger, set the launch path of Zero Hour to your ZH Directory, Launcher, generals.exe
11. Ensure you have a windows firewall exception added for GameRanger and Generals Zero Hour
12. Ensure you have UDP port 16000 forwarded in your router (step differs by router)
13. Right click on your .exe and add -win -quickstart to the end of the commandline

15. Remove the files "EA_LOGO.bik" and "sizzle_review.bik" from ZH Directory, \Data\English\Movies

1. Sign up on cnc-online.net
2. Activate your account by checking your email
3. Go back to cnc-online and choose a server login and password
4. Run the game and login online using your newly created server name and password on the Multiplayer, Online screen
