In this guide I show how I play the Medic in Mann Versus Machine in an abandoned mining facility set on a large slope puts an emphasis on vertical combat. This is a way to play a survival/healing/overhealing and revival hybrid of a class all in one. I also posted my Review of this map below and give it a 4/5.

My Review:
Steep is a great map that clearly focuses on vertical combat but it is not without some flaws. The robot spawn up to the upgrade station is beautifully defined until you get to the house in the center that connects the entire map together in all directions and the mine shaft area. I found myself rarely using the short cuts in the mine shaft for they were out of the way and sight. The house in the center, it's balcony, is missing an additional opening that could of lead to the mine shaft itself. Steep provides a heavy challenge to Medic's energy shield and a Tank Engineer's Wrangler shield for fire damage is chaotic in nature. Across from the upgrade station is a platform barely used, noobs find themselves standing on top of that train cart that truly sets them out from the crowd but it is very great for professions like demomen and soldiers. The tracks that lead into the building near the spawn (where the gate is on a cemented platform) could of been opened to provide a shortcut, make the map more open and maybe even include some train theme going on in there but it never came to fruition. The stairs leading from spawn upward is also commonly overlooked and avoided. The map does provide you with many shortcuts, but also denies the usage of these shortcuts or they are easily overlooked. I know I will be met with harsh criticism but Downpour is a map of fine example how to utilize all packages and shortcuts to always be used by the players in some form or the other.

Trivia:
- Reviving a spy resets his Sapper Cooldown and Spies are often prone to dying a lot due to Valve AI.
- APD Medics are excellent with keeping Demoknights alive.

Weapons List:
Blutsauger - Purchase Mad Milk Syringes and shoot this weapon offensively and defensively to heal yourself. It functions exactly like a Mad Milk thrown by the scout and more shots fired increases the duration of the milk. You may also heal yourself while attacking with projectile shield + Increase your healing done while healing with Quick-Fix. This is a great way to make any class, close or far range, sustain heavy damage during combat.

Quick-Fix - Overheal yourself and the team, revives way faster than expected, fill your energy way quicker than expected with revivals, quick over heals and over all healing mastery. This medigun is notorious for being able to overheal you when you pop uber in situations where you entire team is dead or when you are found alone, overhealing and healing yourself provides you with energy that every other medigun can't provide you.

Ubersaw - I... do I have to say anything? Just scroll to the end of the video when I popped uber and used the Ubersaw. It says it all for itself.

Tips:
- Projectile Shield's damage increases with Buff Banner, heals by all sorts of Mad Milk buffs applied (including the Mad Milk Syringes).
- Keep enemies behind your shield wall to protect from all incoming projectiles, damage, flares and not fire projectiles like bisons, flamethrower flames, etc. Most fire damage can go through your shield and henceforth the Quick-Fix truly is a medi-gun to be feared in this regard + Uber Canteens.
- Do not allow enemies to go through your Projectile Shield and keep bashing them with the shield to keep on applying the 'Chainsaw effect'. This means you will kill a lot of enemies with ease.
