How to Redeem Apple Gift Card
Redeeming an Apple Gift Card on your iPhone is a quick and simple process that adds the card’s balance directly to your Apple ID. This balance can then be used to purchase apps, games, music, movies, subscriptions, and even iCloud storage. Whether you received a digital or physical card, you can follow the same steps to redeem it through the App Store.
To start, open the App Store app on your iPhone. Tap your Apple ID profile icon at the top right corner of the screen. If you’re not signed in, you'll need to log in with the Apple ID you want the gift card applied to.
Once you’re in your account menu, tap on Redeem Gift Card or Code. You’ll be given two options: you can use your iPhone's camera to scan the code on the back of a physical card, or if you have a digital code, tap Enter Code Manually. Carefully type in the 16-digit code found on the back of the card or in the digital email you received.
After entering the code, tap Redeem. If the code is valid, the balance will be immediately applied to your Apple ID account. You can check your updated Apple ID balance at the bottom of the account page in the App Store.
This method works for all Apple Gift Cards, App Store & iTunes Gift Cards, and digital codes provided by authorized Apple retailers.
