How To Reset An Nvidia Shield TV Box
347In this video I show a simple step by step guide on how to reset an Nvidia TV box.
The first time I tried to do a factory reset of the Nvidia Shield TV box I got a bit stuck and it took me a short while to find the function. So, with that being the case I thought I'd do a quick simple step by step guide for resetting the Nvidia Shield TV box.
The two main reasons why you'd want to do this is probably because.
1. If like me you like to tinker and mess about with things, it's likely that at some point you've installed a load of junk to test and simply want to reset your Shield TV to give you a clean slate after you've worked out what's the best apps etc. for your long term use.
2. You maybe selling you Shield TV or giving it to someone else. In which case you definitely would want to reset it and delete all your personal data, passwords and Google account etc.
DON'T FORGET. THIS IS A COMPLETE FACTORY DATA RESET AND WILL WIPE OUT ALL THE INTERNAL DATA ON THE SHIELD'S INTERNAL STORAGE AND WILL ALSO DELETE ANY USB DATA THAT'S USED TO EXTEND THE INTERNAL STORAGE.
