To restart your Nintendo Switch while it’s in dock mode, follow these steps:

Press and hold the POWER Button on the console for at least three seconds.
Select “Power Options” from the menu that appears on the screen.
Choose the Restart option to restart the system12.
Additionally, if you need to power cycle your Nintendo Switch system while it’s in a dock, follow these steps:

Unplug the AC adapter from both the wall and the dock/console.
Hold down the POWER Button on the console for 20 seconds.
Release the POWER Button, then press it once.
Plug the console back into power and let it charge fully
