How to Sign Out of a Gmail Account !
Signing out of a Gmail account is a simple process, but the steps differ slightly depending on whether you're using an Android device or an iPhone. Gmail is closely linked with your Google account, so logging out may also affect other Google services you use on the device.
On **iPhone**, signing out of Gmail is straightforward because the Gmail app functions separately from the iOS system account. Open the Gmail app and tap on your profile icon located in the top right corner. From the pop-up menu, tap "Manage accounts on this device." You'll see a list of accounts currently signed into Gmail. Tap "Remove from this device" next to the account you want to sign out of, and that Gmail account will be removed from the app.
On **Android**, Gmail is deeply integrated with your device’s system account, meaning you cannot sign out directly from the Gmail app. Instead, you need to remove the entire Google account from your phone. To do this, open the Gmail app and tap the profile icon in the top right corner. Select "Manage accounts on this device." This will take you to your phone’s account settings. Tap on the Google account you want to remove, then choose "Remove account." This action will sign you out of Gmail and other Google services tied to that account.
Please note that removing a Google account from an Android phone may stop syncing for Gmail, Google Contacts, and Calendar. If you're only looking to switch accounts temporarily, consider adding another account without removing the existing one.
