How to Soothe BB (Quick Tutorial) | Death Stranding
250One of the main features of Death Stranding is your companion, BB, and if by any chance you trip or do something stupid, he will start crying and you will need to soothe him.
This is relatively simple but takes a lot of time to grab the hang of it, so in case you are having a hard time being a virtual father here is a quick tutorial on how to soothe BB.
Press L1 to open this little menu and then select Check on BB.
You will now enter in a first-person view of you holding BB, but you can switch to a 3rd person view by letting go of the L1 button. Either way, you can rock BB.
Move your controller as if you were nodding, trying to keep a steady pace so the BB starts to calm, There is a small bar to bottom left that will start to fill slowly if you are soothing BB correctly. Don't sooth BB too fast or shake it like a maniac because BB will start stressing and crying and the progress of the bar will stop.
There is a hidden bronce trophy you can unlock if you soothe a crying BB and stop the crying for the first time, so be sure to unlock that.
