How To Turn On Developer Mode and USB Debugging On A Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra S23 S23 Plus S23+
In this video I show how to turn on Developer Mode on a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. This is sometimes called Dev Mode.
This way to turn on Developer Mode will also work with the Samsung Galaxy S23 and Samsung Galaxy S23+ S23 Plus.
This method may also work to switch on developer mode on other Android smartphones.
There are many reasons why you would want to switch on Developer Mode on any Android phone but the main one is probably going to be for turning on USB debugging, which you can do once you have activated Developer Mode and selected USB debugging in the developer options.
Here's the guide to turn on Developer Mode (Dev Mode):
1 - Tap on and enter settings.
2 - Scroll down to the bottom of settings.
3 - Tap on and enter "About Phone".
4 - Tap on and enter "Software Information".
5 - Tap on "Build Number" seven times.
6 - After taping seven times you may be asked to enter the PIN number that you use to access your phone for security purposes, just enter your PIN or give the response to any other security question that you may be asked for verification.
7 - You will now receive an on screen message saying "Developer Mode Has Been Enabled".
You have now activated Developer Mode.
Once Developer Mode has been activated, you will then find the option "Developer Options" at the bottom of the list in "Settings". Clicking on this will give you the hidden developer mode options.
