How to use the Marker System in the Death Stranding Map
One of the key aspects of having a successful delivery is to plan your route correctly in your map and here I am going to give you some tips on how to use the marker system correctly because it's kinda weird at the beginning.
If you select any point of the map and press square, you will mark that location with a letter, starting with A up to the letter E, for a total of 5 markers. If you placed the letter E and place a new marker, the letter A will be placed in this new position and the previous one will be deleted.
If you place a marker, keep pressing the square button and then drag to any direction, you will make a line, and after releasing the button you will have a new marker. You can create up to 10 "steps" or 10 markers with a single letter, for example, A1, A2, and so on until A10, and when you do the next one, you will change letter, B, C, D and E. This will give you a maximum of 50 route markers that you can place in the map.
If you have different markers already placed in the map, you can hover them, press square and drag a line to another marker and then release to connect those markers and make a route. Just take into consideration that the letter where the line is initially drawn from will be the one that designates the letters for the whole route.
You can delete individual markers by pressing square over that certain marker or hold square anywhere on the map to delete all existing ones.
All of these markers and routes will be shown in the real world but take into consideration that as these are virtual they don't have a physical limitation so sometimes they can go through walls or over mountains which can be very difficult to traverse.
And that pretty much sums the basics for using the map and markers in Death Stranding. If you find another nice trick be sure to share it in the comment section down below but, thank you for watching and keep enjoying the game.
