GM Amonatov Farrukh from Tajikistan is currently leading the 13th KIIT International Chess Festival 2022 (Category 'A') with 7/8 points. With two rounds to go, in round 8 Amonatov faced GM Boris Savchenko and the game was one of the most exciting games of the tournament. In this interview, Amonatov talks about the critical positions of the game and how Boris surprised him.
