I have seen a lot of YouTube videos where the creators claim to have generated Images that accurately portray a particular franchise as if it was made in the eighties. I must mention here that most of those videos look simply amazing.
But to be honest most of them dont feel like as if they were from an actual movie that was made in the eighties. Take for example The 1987 "Masters of the Universe" movie, which was quite different from the source material that it was based on.
While the original cartoon and toy line had a distinct fantasy and sword-and-sorcery feel, the 1987 movie took a different approach. Focused on bringing the characters of He-Man and Skeletor to Earth, with a substantial portion of the story taking place in modern-day America.
While old eighties horror and science fiction movies can evoke a sense of nostalgia for fans of the genre, individual preferences and changing filmmaking standards has deeply affected how enjoyable they are for viewers today.
Keeping these points in mind. If there ever was a Warhammer 40 K movie made in the eighties then due to the budget constraints, the creative decisions and the limitation of visual effects the movie would indeed look different from the source material.
and who knows, just like the "Masters of the Universe" movie, this "Warhammer" film could also have garnered a cult following over the years.
These images were generated using midjourney by "V" and I will be adding a link to his page in the description. Be sure to check it out and support him.
