IMF chief economist Gita Gopinath, however, says India's recovery is "incomplete". Speaking to NDTV, she said, "In terms of recovery, you want to look at the distance to where the economy would have been in the absence of a pandemic, and there it is incomplete, there is still some distance to travel."
