IN WE GO AGAIN! – 7 Days Dishong Tower Challenge (01a)
58In this episode, we restart the Dishong Tower challenge in order to showcase the new modlet we created specifically for it.
For this challenge, Sphereii, PitchSilent, and I created a modlet which you can download here: https://heypats.com/mods. That modlet contains a may that has only the Dishong Tower in it and makes some changes to the game that make the challenge doable in Alpha 18. To start the challenge, unzip the mod folder and place it in the “mods” folder with your 7 Days to Die game files. Start a new game and select "DISHONG TOWER CHALLENGE" in the Game World slot. Set everything else to default and start the new world. You will begin in front of the tower.
Here are the changes the modlet makes to the vanilla game:
• Coal recipe = 1 coal from 5 wood in campfire
• Farming plot recipe = 4 wood, 5 flesh, 5 nitrate, 100 clay
• Glue recipe = 4 bones with campfire, 2 bones with chemistry station
• Headlights wrenched from spotlights
• 25% chance of battery from spotlights
• 6 Plant fibers and clay from digging potted plants
• 30 Plant fibers from trees
• Engine from wrenching AC unit
• 25% chance of headlight from Work Light
• 10% chance of battery from Work Light Increased chance for nitrate, flesh, and bones in garbage and food loot containers
• Fat Hawaiian, Moe, and Female Fat zombies can be harvested for rotten flesh and bones
The rules of the Dishong Tower Challenge:
1. You must enter the Dishong Tower immediately (being on the front porch counts as being in) and cannot leave thereafter.
2. You may build bridges off the side of the building to reach things, but those bridges must support themselves and cannot touch the ground.
3. If you die, the game is over.
4. You must survive until you are able to build a gyrocopter and fly off the roof.
