Insane New "Layer Swap" Graphics Glitch in Paper Mario (Glitch tutorial) (Exclusive to NSO)
9(This glitch does not affect gameplay in any way. The seamless teleporting between rooms is only an edit.)
I have found a glitch on that is triggered when loading a save state.
At first I thought "Oh well seems like an emulator bug" But then PM came to NSO and it works there too (Can't get it to work on Wii U VC.), so that's why I even made this video.
I only went up to Chapter 1 in this video so I might make a part 2 to document more discoveries. Works on the US version too btw.
Alright here is the tutorial
Step 0. I recommend making a save state right before trying this glitch in case you mess up
00:12 Step 1. Background Swap.
Touch the star card and press + at the exact same time. You will know when you get it.
00:23 Step 2. Complete the peach section.
Pretty tricky if you aren't experienced, since the screen is almost completely blocked. You could maybe practice it on a different save or something.
00:43 Step 3. Create a save state.
00:53 Step 4. Pause and unpause.
00:57 Step 5. Load the save state you just made.
After you do that the glitch will be active until you pause or close the game.
