Steps to install:
.) 0:00 Introduction
.) 0:38 Open a web browser and go to the Project 1999 (P99) home page
.) Under the "Welcome" post found on the P99 home page, select "Project 1999 Patch Files (V55) and download them to a location you know where to find.
.) 1:30 Go to the MMORPG forum to download a copy of the client files.
.) 2:40 Create a folder on your desktop, or a location you can find, to hold the disc files.
.) Create a folder on the hard drive you wish to install the game. Make sure this is not a "Programs File" folder. Name it "P99" for ease of use.
.) 3:35 Extract the ZIP files for the Clients. Remove the "CD 1" - "CD-5" from their folders and place them in the folder we created from step 4.
.) Open "CD 1" and right click on the "EQ_TITANIUM_CD1 - Copy" file
.) 4:45 Select "Mount". Repeat this process for "CD-2" through "CD-5"
.) Under "This PC" you should now find multiple drives named after the CDs. Do not be freaked out by the 5th disc, it is weirdly name but is still "CD-5"
.) Click on the drive with "Titanium 1" on it
.) Click on "setup.exe" and run the installer. Make sure not to click through too quickly because...
.) 6:05 Once you are on the installation path screen, make sure to select "Browser" and go to the folder location we created in Step 5
.) Hit next and begin install. It will ask you to insert the next disk.
.) 06:38 Click "Browse" and find the drive with "Titanium 2" on it. Select continue.
.) Repeat this process as the install prompts you
.) Upon finishing, the game is installed but we need to patch it.
.) 7:15 Return to your download folder and find the "P99Files55" zip file
.) Extract those files into the folder created in Step 5
.) When asked, replace all existing files
.) You have completed installation!
.) 7:55 Locate "Launch Titanium" in the install folder from Step 5. Create a shortcut of that folder and add it to your desktop
.) Delete the "EQ" icon added from the installation. This can harm your install. *DO NOT CLICK.*
.) You are done! Either launch the game with "Launch Titanium" or setup your account back at Project1999.com
