Is Intel Optane worth it? | Speed Test | Rendering | 5 Games Tested
Today in this video, I'm gonna show you the changes after installing the optane memory in my system.
► Description:
Intel® Optane™ memory is a system acceleration solution installed between the processor and slower storage devices (SATA HDD, SSHD, SSD), which enables the computer to store commonly used data and programs closer to the processor.
All these pros and cons are of my opinion
► Pros:
1. When paired with your slower hard drive. It improves the performance of your HDD equivalent to SSD.
2. Improves the loading time of your frequently used programs and games
3. Cheaper
► Cons:
1. Setting up Optane for the first time is time-consuming
2. Any Sudden shutdown, restart, or power outrage. It resets the cache to default
3. Optane compatible motherboard is required having M.2 slot
4. Kaby Lake 7th gen+ processor required
