Is It Time to Abolish Knowledge Checks from Roleplaying Games, including Dungeons & Dragons (DnD 5e)
Should characters be rolling to see if they know things related to their skill levels? Knowledge checks seem like something that slows down the game and is yet another avenue that can potentially trip players up if their supposedly knowledgeable PC suddenly does not know basic information. Should we even be rolling?
