Uhh... ahh... I'm way too excited for Jurassic World. As soon as I heard that this movie was being made I spend pretty much everyday learning as much as I could about it. I analyzed every picture, teaser, and trailer that was released. I've been waiting for another Jurassic Park movie since 2001! Well the day is finally here and to celebrate I covered a song from the most memorable Jurassic Park game I played when I was a kid.
When Colin Trevorrow, the director, was doing research for Jurassic World he posted on Twitter a picture of him playing Jurassic Park 2: The Chaos Continues and labeled it "Research". I'm very excited to see this film! I'm actually going to see it later tonight!!!
As for the game itself. It might not be known for being the greatest game or even the greatest Jurassic Park game but it was the first JP game I ever played. And though it might seem like an outdated game I noticed some parts are relevant with the new movie coming out. Such as the return to Isla Nublar and a heavy military like presence on the island. Whether these connections or additional ones were a result from Colin's gameplay experience is highly unlikely, it's still nice to think that this game had a part in the movie making process. Thanks for watching!
Oh and Dean Evans, the composer of this game, has his own YouTube channel. Be sure to send him some love.
