So no matter who disagrees they do in fact have a spectacle creep problem. They are always pushing limits to say oh look we did a thing. Look how grand this is. The reason it bothers me is you walk a fine line of cool idea that is really fun VS a one off look what I can do that is then kind of just a weird bump. That room is designed so much for one boss it's really awkward and pointless otherwise. If you push to far it kind of hurts your game and then comes off like you want one big thrill that you did not stop and think about how that would effect other things.
