When I was a kid, I spent a lot of time at my grandparents' house, along with my sister, Julie, and our cousin, Ben. My grandpa loved video games, and we would play RPGs for hours on end. His favorite had to be King's Bounty for the Sega Genesis. He completely mastered that game on the most difficult settings, and the theme song became ingrained in my childhood memories.
My grandpa passed away a few years ago. I inherited all of his old video games, and playing them reminds me of the times we spent together. One day, after playing King's Bounty, I decided that it would be a fun tribute to my grandpa if I made a cover of the theme song.
